"HeathersVoice.org", a non-profit organization which provides assistance and educational programs to victims of domestic violence, their families, and at-risk youth will host a multi-act concert June 4, 2011, at the Earl Smith Strand Theater in historic Marietta.
Doors open at 6:00pm and the event will feature musical performances by Reverend Hylton and the HeadsThe Wayward Hounds, the Reese Boyd Project, and several special guests including Lindsay Knight (Heather’s youngest cousin).

The event benefits “HeathersVoice.org” whose goal is to stop domestic violence by providing educational resources and safe havens for the abused. HeathersVoice.org also provides financial support for the children left behind and preemptive education on anger management and self-esteem building for elementary and middle school children.
Heather’s Voice Foundation is dedicated to promoting empowerment and raising awareness of domestic violence issues. The Foundation reaches out to potential victims and abusers, including high risk children and adults in an effort to stop the violence before it begins.

Thanks to the hundreds of people that turned out for this event. The debut of the HeathersVoice.org song was AMAZING and every act on the bill did a fabulous job. Stay tuned for a follow up blog on the Strand show details. If you weren't there, you missed a really great event!
