Kennesaw State University to Host Domestic Violence Awareness Concert

RADIOLUCENT

The Heather J. Kwiate Foundation (Heather’s Legacy), has been hard at work overhauling our brand from Heather's Voice to Heather's Legacy. Our first event held under the new name was at Tavern 99 in January,it was a great event and successfully launched our new name. Since that time, we have been laying low on public events to give us time to work on some major changes.
One of these changes is a sign of major progress in the community as we have officially  teamed up with
Kennesaw State University's Student Success Services to bring the first Women's Center to the Campus. This tremendous opportunity will take some time to get off the ground but, we are already well under way with our new partnership with Kennesaw State University. More news on that later!

We have so much news to share with all of you but, we can't let it all out at once so stay tuned an follow us on Facebook and Twitter (HeathersLegacy). Our next announcement will be made on March 22nd during our 2nd Annual Concert on the Green. Heather's Legacy along with KSU's University Studies Program, Students in Free Enterprise, Student Success will present the "On the Turning Away" concert on the Campus Green at Kennesaw State University on Thursday, March 22 starting at noon. Please join us on this important day, it is open to the public and free of charge to everyone, all ages invited.

Entertainment will be provided by local Atlanta legend Bille Seymour, as well as one of the most exciting young bands to come out of the Athens music scene in years, Radiolucent. Free food will be provided by Paddy’s Irish Eatery. The keynote address will be delivered by Debbie Norris, founder of Heather’s Voice (hence, our name change), an Indianapolis based domestic violence prevention group.
