The Foundation provides a network that includes access to safe-havens for the abused and their families. By empowering them through emotional support, emergency funding, job skills training, and other educational opportunities we strive to give help and hope to those in need in an effort to End the Silence and STOP the VIOLENCE!

It's All the Same, Only the Name Has Changed...

End the Silence...Stop the Violence!

HEATHER’S VOICE Changes to ‘HEATHER’S LEGACY’

Atlanta GA. – (December 5, 2011) Heather’s Voice has announced it has
officially changed its name to The Heather J. Kwiate Foundation (D/B/A, Heather’s Legacy). Unlike Heather’s Voice, the new name is entirely unique to the organization founded in memory of Heather J. Kwiate who became a fatal victim of domestic violence at the young age of 23. Accordingly, the organization can now be found on line at HeathersLegacy.org and the new Facebook page at Heathers Legacy.

Heather’s Legacy has many exciting events planned for 2012, the first of which is scheduled for 8pm on Friday, January 6th at Tavern 99 in Atlanta, Georgia. The concert will include opening performances by EB Reece and Hannah Thomas, Georgia Country Female Artist of the Year (2010). Heather Luttrell, a national recording artist,
will headline the event with a unique mix of rock, folk, and blues. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Heather’s Legacy to support the many efforts of the Foundation’s programs.

Finally, thanks to everyone who has helped keep Heather’s memory alive through the Foundation. In 2012, we look forward to meeting new friends as Heather’s Legacy grows and continues its mission to help support victims of domestic violence, their families, and to educate children and adults about domestic violence issues.
End the Silence…Stop the Violence.
