Mission Statement:
(The website for Emerging Music Network has been temporarily forwarded to this page, to reach EMN staff please email info@EmergingMusicNetwork.com)
The mission of The Heather J. Kwiate Foundation is to create positive change in the lives of those impacted by domestic violence, to raise awareness, and to develop sustainable strategies for prevention. The Foundation provides a network that includes access to safe-havens for the abused and their families. By empowering them through emotional support, emergency funding, job skills training, and other educational opportunities we strive to give help and hope to those in need in an effort to End the Silence and STOP the VIOLENCE!

Heather was someone's baby, someone's mother, Heather was SOMEONE, not "just another statistic" of domestic violence.
The fact that she became part of a group of people who died due to domestic violence is unjust and unacceptable.
But, please remember her as a person, a lovely and kind human being that still touches the lives of many every day, even in death.
-"Walk in Fields of Gold" Heather- We remember who you are.
Awesome site and awesome project!
Thanks for putting this all together! Let me know what I can do to help!

Thanks for posting, Bob. We have several events planned and I hope your band will be involved. We have a lot of money to raise and a lot of work to do at the shelter. I know you are a computer guru, maybe you can help us with getting some of the shelter residents some training on basic office programs when we are ready.
The next thing we need is a stage for a concert on the Green at Kennesaw State March 22, do you have access to one? That would be a great help!
Thank you so much for checking in on the project. It means a lot to me and my family to know you care.

Will there eventually be events in Illinois? I notice most are in Georgia.
Yes, we will be having events in Illinois and several other states soon.
Right now, we are just getting up and running, but we do have plans in the works to come to Illinois, hopefully in the Fall.
If you are interested in helping Heather's Voice, please let us know and we would be happy to talk with you.
